About Equine Anatomy Explorer
Equine Anatomy Explorer is an educational MVP designed for veterinarians, veterinary students, horse owners, and anyone interested in equine anatomy. It lets you progressively peel layers of a horse — from skin to skeleton — and learn about each structure's function, location, and clinical relevance.
This application is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or training.
Roadmap
- Replace the placeholder 2D viewer with a real 3D horse model (GLB/GLTF) using Three.js / React Three Fiber.
- Move from local-only storage to Lovable Cloud for shared content and user accounts.
- Expand the seed dataset to cover full equine anatomy with high-quality references.
- Add spaced-repetition study scheduling.
- Add anatomy-region drawing for clinical case annotations.
Data sources
Content in this MVP is summarized from standard veterinary anatomy curricula for educational purposes. Always consult primary sources and a qualified veterinarian for clinical decision making.
